Below is a summary of our process to help you prepare.
STEP ONE
Consultation
Every great kitchen starts with a clear vision. In this first step, we work closely with you to understand your preferences, lifestyle, and expectations for your space. Together, we explore design possibilities and practical considerations to create a kitchen concept that reflects your style and aligns with your budget, including:
- Choose your kitchen style
- Discuss your colour scheme
- Choose your kitchen layout
- Choose from material types
- Choice of add-on's and upgrades
- Discuss what fits your budget
STEP TWO
Design & Quote
Once your initial selections are complete, we translate your ideas into a clear and structured proposal. This stage focuses on pricing and layout planning, giving you a realistic view of your project and the opportunity to fine-tune the design before moving forward, including:
- Your estimate presented
- Floor plan layout presented upon estimate approval (allow up to 1 week)
- First revision of floor plan layout (up to 1 FREE additional revisions)
STEP THREE
Payment Terms
With your design approved, we move into the commitment and production phase. This step outlines the required deposits, available design options, revision allowances, payment milestones, and important policies to ensure transparency and a smooth workflow throughout your project, including:
- 75% deposit to put you into the production queue
- Alternatively, a non-refundable $500.00 design fee can be paid to produce 3D renderings should you not feel fully committed quite as yet. This fee will go towards your 75% deposit should you decide to move ahead with the order.
- Up to Three (3) free revisions after receipt of deposit. An additional charge of $100.00 will be added to your invoice for revisions that surpass the 3 free revisions.
- 20% due upon completion of order before delivery
- 5% due upon completion of installation
- Cancellations made after 2 weeks of placing the order will incur a cancellation fee of 10%.
- Refunds for cancellations will be processed as per the payment terms, deducting any fees or costs already incurred.
STEP FOUR
Production
After your order is confirmed, we focus on refining the final details and preparing for production. This stage outlines the production timeline, refinement window, required information, and final confirmations needed to keep your project on schedule and ensure accuracy before manufacturing begins, including:
- Allow 8-12 weeks production time.
- You are allowed a refinement period of 4 weeks after the initial 75% deposit.
- All appliance data will be required before the 4 week refinement period is over. Delays in this information can cause delays in the overall project. (See appliance disclaimer for more information)
- Final measurements are to be taken on site by a technician.
- Order confirmation and pre-delivery forms are to be signed by the client and designer.
STEP FIVE
Delivery & Installation
As your project reaches its final stage, we coordinate delivery and installation to bring your kitchen to life. This step outlines site readiness requirements, scheduling, installation timelines, final walkthroughs, and warranty activation to ensure a smooth handover and complete peace of mind, including:
- Ensure the installation site/space is ready. The pre-installation document must be completed by this time.
- The delivery and installation date will be scheduled.
- Products delivered to the site.
- Please allocate a minimum of 1 week for the installation process. Depending on the size and complexity of the project, it may require additional time beyond the initial estimate.
- Project walk-through.
- Warranty activation after final payment and signing of the Project Completion Form. **
** Warranty will only be activated upon final payment of goods and upon signing off on the Project Completion Form.
